Our Story
When I first thought about creating Biba, I was at a bachelor party in Las Vegas, wondering if there was something I could mix with my vodka to help me feel better the next day. Is it possible to make a healthier vodka drink? I knew if I drank water between drinks and snuck in some electrolytes I’d have a chance of feeling good. That’s when I realized the secret was in staying hydrated and set out to create my own remedy.
Ben Franklin said it best, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
After researching all of the best all-natural vitamins and electrolytes, we added a slight amount of bubbles and lime flavor to make Biba, (from the Latin word Bibo, to drink). No preservatives, No caffeine, No crazy chemicals. Just smart healthy ingredients designed for smart healthy people. Biba would be mixable with any beverage or able to be consumed alone.
The next few years were spent tasting and testing Biba concoctions with my friends and family until we found the perfect blend. I put together a team of incredible people to help start the business and we were off to save the world from dehydration!
Today, Biba represents living an intelligent lifestyle and making smart choices. It is not about over consumption, but about living and drinking responsibly. Drinking Biba means being healthy, staying active physically and socially and taking care of yourself and the world around you.
